General terms and conditions of business

These general terms and conditions apply to every offer from Learn To Fall/Pieter van Pletzen. Valid from January 2014.

Payment of course fees
After you have registered for a course, you will receive the course information and payment terms from us by email. The payment deadline listed there is binding. Registration obligates you to pay the course fee. Failure to pay the course fee does not constitute cancellation.

Course organization
For organizational reasons, we reserve the right to postpone, combine, or change the location of courses.

Course places and implementation
To ensure our courses run under optimal conditions, we set a minimum and maximum number of participants. Course places are allocated on a first-come, first-served basis (subject to timely payment). If there are insufficient participants, the course will generally be canceled, and the course fee will be waived or refunded.
If a class is under-subscribed, we may, in individual cases, hold the course subject to the consent of the participants, but increase the course fee accordingly.

Cancellations
Deregistering from a course involves administrative effort. Depending on when you deregister, we may waive your course fee in whole or in part. Please note the following policy:
If you cancel up to one week before the course starts, we can waive or refund your course fee. If you cancel less than one week before the course starts, you must pay the full course fee. Exception: If you submit a medical certificate up to one day before the course starts, the course fee will be waived.

Courses not attended
Missed courses cannot be made up. In principle, no refunds are possible for missed lessons.

Insurance
We exclude all liability for damages incurred for all courses and events organized by Learn To Fall. Each course participant is therefore responsible for ensuring adequate insurance coverage.

Program and price changes
Program and price changes as well as changes to the general terms and conditions remain reserved.

Place of jurisdiction
All legal relationships with Learn To Fall/Pieter van Pletzen are governed by Swiss law. The place of jurisdiction is Walenstadt.
